BIOS is funded through charitable giving and the support of trusts and foundations. These supporters provide funds for specific projects, salary costs for essential project staff and enable us to ensure the longevity of our project.
Partners and volunteers give time and resources and advice to support the work of BIOS.
The funding and support these organisations and individuals give to the work of BIOS ensures that we are able to continue this valuable work providing pastoral care to those young people in Swindon who need it most.
There are a number of ways you can support the work of BIOS and be a part of this important work.
You can commit to support us through a regular donation by downloading, completing and returning the standing order form here.
One-off donations can be sent by cheque made payable to ‘SYFC’, sent to BIOS, c/o SYFC, PO Box 2352, Swindon, SN2 1WE. Please mark your donation ‘BIOS’.
If you are a UK tax payer then SYFC can claim Gift Aid on your donation which further goes to support the work of BIOS.
Or you can help by registering on ‘The Giving Machine’ and nominating BIOS- Settings for Life as one of your chosen Charities (click the link below).
Volunteering – BIOS works with skilled and trained individuals who give their time to support BIOS. From supporting the front line work of BIOS to promotion and administrative tasks you could help by giving some time to volunteer on a BIOS project.
Resourcing – Many of the specific BIOS projects require materials and equipment alongside time and finances. By donating resources you can support the ongoing work of BIOS
